Mother Nature
I decided to create a series of work that I can come back to as and when the need arises in me. Just as in nature, there are seasons in our lives when we actively do things or put things on the shelf until the time, or season, is right to focus on them.
These pieces are the first in my series “Mother Nature.” When thinking about where I draw inspiration from, it got me to thinking how nature is connected to everything.
Man made materials have to be sourced from somewhere. Artificial things are not magicked from thin air.
Everything comes back to nature.
Just like we react to things so does nature, and if we treat her with kindness and respect, we will benefit from her abundance, but if we abuse and neglect her, she will lose hope and wither or wreak vengeance.
